The purpose of the Society is to support the understanding between Malaysia and Germany, in particular in the cultural and scientific area with speeches, exhibitions, concerts, book presentations and similar activities, so that society in general will be supported. Through these activities the culture understanding should be improved to deepen the mutual understanding. 

What we want

The DtMG considers itself as a platform for the exchange of a variety of German and Malaysian interests. With the scope of her activities she positions herself as a unique, specific and high quality organization.

What we do

To achieve these objectives DtMG has to be linked to established networks in Germany and Malaysia. Therefore she continuously needs to improve her standing to established and newly built organizations. In this context, the DtMG works closely together with private and public institutions fulfilling the objectives of the DtMG. The permanent exchange with these networks increases the information level of the DtMG members.
Due  to the decentral activities of the DtMG, the DtMG cooperates closely with local institutions and personalities, to create joined activities that will support the objectives of the DtMG. In addition the DtMG is involved in various task oriented welfare projects.

All these activities target people in Malaysia and Germany - as a kaleidoscope of political, social, economic and culture interfaces between the two countries.
The DtMG supports the understanding of people, having daily activities in Malaysia and Germany, regarding i.e.:

 

- business, banking, trading, science, institutions, non-governmental organizations

  and/or

- sports , culture, music, leisure, tourism

  and/or

- security, health, climate, sustainability and division of work


These principles of the DtMG create confidence through transparency, respect and authenticity.

The DtMG continues its tradition to award outstanding promotions for cultural understanding.
